Down the hill below the witch’s house, and beside the boys’ secret hideout, is a deep, whirling water hole where the witch’s dragon lives, and where a little girl disappeared. The witch watches from her upstairs window and uses her magic bell to cast spells on anyone going near the deep hole. J.T., the witch’s son, feeds chicken scraps, and anything he can find lying dead in the creek, to the dragon. The witch and J.T. seem familiar to Tootsy, but how can she possibly know them? Will Tootsy and the twins, Cindy and Lindy, find the boys’ secret hideout in the creek holler without the witch casting a spell on them? Wayne discovers that his new glass eye holds the power promised to him from Ms. Attie, and he becomes Dragon Warrior, the young African-American superhero, who saves them all by becoming the master of the dragon Kudar, and capturing Tootsy’s heart.
